My mother came to visit me at school yesterday. And the Brain.
We had a good time. Went to South Street for some sandwiches of course. I had a hoagie. It was quite delectable.
We talked about my future a little. I told my mom about how I plan on doubling up in Journalism and Philosophy so that I can work for the ACLU in the future and report cases on their website. It's a fairly simple ambition. Hell, It's not much of an amibition but more of a last minute plan b. It's my morning after pill of future plans.
My real plan barely exists however, It's hidden with the guise of big city extravagance, business attire, and a top notch entourage to herald my arrival at the grandest of affairs......Now all I need is a career to get that ball rolling.
My later future plan includes a beautiful Montclair, New Jersey home. Where me and my husban will live with our kids and I'll be retired at the age of 38. But beginning my career as a novelist I guess.
It seems I have the Ends... I'm just waiting for the Means to materialize.
